Crafted with a raw over-hammered bell, medium weight, and sandblasted top paired with a partially un-lathed bottom, the Meinl 20" Byzance Vintage Sand Ride summons antique tones in a modern package. Infinitely playable, the narrow blade lathing combined with the broken-in feel of the finish equate to a dry character with minimal overtones and sustain that sit nicely in any mix.

Byzance Traditional 18” Thin Crash delivers a superb low tone with a medium spread and an agile feel — its clean, smooth attack and dark sound are both powerful and nuanced.

It provides the perfect balance of a cutting "chaw" sound and a softer, dry, trashiness, making it a china for many applications.

The sandblasted top combined with the partially lathed bottom produce an outstanding dry and fast stick sound with a very quick decay. The bell has a clear, bright and articulate voice.

The thinner brother to the medium version with more wash and an extremely buttery, soft feeling. This ride has also good crash abilities due to its thin material.

Distinctive hihat due to its weight relation between top and bottom. Dry and defined, fat chick due to heavy bottom. Light weight top produces a dark stick response with little wash.
