GMD has always had a deep appreciation for the impactful presence of large Hi-Hats and the versatility they offer across different dynamics. However, it was crucial for us to maintain their responsiveness and quickness. To achieve this, they designed a unique pair that gives strength and cut, yet still ensures rapid response. Not a necessity, but for those that incorporate clap stacks in their setups, we found that this pair gives those desirable contrasting pitches, blurring the lines between a clap stack and hi-hats.
