20" GM Designs Louis Cole Prototype Ride
Louis Cole was thrilled to see the large bells on many GM Designs cymbals, something he hadn’t encountered with any other company. He was searching for a heavy ride cymbal for his next project and wanted something with a funky shape. GMD & Louis agreed on a hexagon, as another company had already done an octagon. 3x prototype rides were made for him featuring an 8" bell, GMD's innovative 10" bell, and soon-to-be-released 12" bell. He ultimately chose the one with the 12" bell. What you have is a rare prototype that simply didn’t make the final cut. It’s still a fantastic cymbal and truly one of a kind.
